Simon Bloomfield joined New York Life as an agent in 2005 and has dedicated most of his career in working with successful businesses and professionals. He has developed a reputation for listening to the needs of his clients by asking questions to help them crystalize their objectives and then working with their other advisors to implement creative solutions.
Simon recognizes that his clients’ time is their most valuable asset, and that by working through a structured and inclusive process, he is able to solve the issues that his clients rarely have the time and knowledge to address. Simon provides guidance and tested strategies in the areas of business succession, executive and employee benefits as well as estate liquidity planning and transfer tax minimization*.
Simon is a Qualifying and Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Roundtable and has been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors since 2005.
Prior to New York Life, Simon held various corporate finance management positions with American Express, both in their European Headquarters in the South of England, and at their global headquarters in New York City. He graduated from the University of London with a B.Sc in Chemistry and lives in Brewster, MA with his wife Jill. A keen gardener and angler, Simon enjoys free time outdoors.
